I am still searching for Sarah Quarles. She was my ggg grandmother. Also looking for her husband, J. M. Richey. Sarah was in the Census, don't have the exact one, with her children: W.R.(Walter Russell),my gg grandfather William, Thomas, John, Robert, and Rosie. Sarah was born 20 mar 1845 in SC and died 03 dec 1896. She and son W. R. are both buried at Double Springs UMC in Oconee County, SC, though W. R. is not listed in the registar. Apparently he had no grave marker.I found out he was buried there from his obituary. His obit says he was the son of the late Sarah Quarles Richey and J. M. Richey. Sarah's Tombstone shows her as wife of J. M. Richey. I need info on Sarah and J.M. I didn't see them listed in more than the one census and J.M. was not mentioned in the census. I guess it's possible he could have died in the Civil War but then he would have been dead when he and Sarah conceived their children. Notify Administrator about this message?
