Sarah Quarm has two recorded births. Sarah Quarm to Robert Quarm and Temperence 11 jan 1805 Newchuch Plymouth and Sarah Littlejohn to Robert Littlejohn and Temperence same date. Robert Edward Quarme birth recorded in IGI as 2 May 1845 son of Robert Quarme and Sarah Temperence Littlejohns. Sarahs father on her marriage cert was Robert Littlejohns and on her death cert was Robert Quarm. Maybe Sarah's fathers name was Robert Edward Littlejohns and mother was Temperance Quarm and these two were married just after Sarah was born in 1805. Hence the two entries for Sarah Quarm and Sarah Littlejohn. Sarah then marries Robert Quarm a nephew of her mother. Robert could have been a sailor and Robert and Sarah settle on Jersey. Emma Littlejohn (Sarahs Daughter) was born on Jersey before they were married and Robert and Sarah marry about 1847. All confusing. My email is ianmurrell@bigpond.com.au.
