My husband is also a great grandson (3-4 greats in there) of Alexander Quarrier. We have a great book, The Genealogical Table and History of the Quarrier Family in America, published in 1890. In addition we have 3 other books that have been very useful. My books show that Elizabeth Dannenberry b. 3/21/1761 was married to Alexander on 1/1/1783 in Philadelphia. I have read that Elizabeth was buried at St. John's Church (d.9/21/1797--I know someone else posted March, but it was the day after giving birth) in Richmond VA, coincidentally where we live. Of Alexander and Elizabeth's eight children only one has the middle initial B (Harriet) and I don't know what this stands for. My husband is a descendant of Alexander and Sally's first child (of nine) William Burns. In addition to references, we have a lot of "legend" on Alexander and know many other Quarriers. Would love to help. We have never heard of another wife's existence--any info on this ?
Thanks.
