On the page titled "Deaths", it lists: "William Quarterman departed this life March the 11 A.D. 1844 in 77 yere of his age". This would put his date of birth around 1767. Who is this William Quarterman? He would have been about 43 years old when Valentine Quarterman was born, Feb 7, 1810. Could he be a grandfather or father to Valentine? Perhaps an uncle. Can anyone help with this?
