Calling all Quates with NC roots!

My name is Rebecca Quate and I'm a 30-year-old journalist living in Greensboro, N.C. I'm currently working on an article regarding Quate family ties in the Guilford County area of N.C. Not only am I a Quate and have wanted to research my roots for a long time, but I was simply stunned when I moved to town earlier this year, looked in the phone book, and saw many other Quates listed. (Once I left my home of Richmond, Va., some 10 years ago, I was always the only Quate in the book in every city I lived since then). Come to find out, my grandfather, Charles Russell Quate, and his brothers Arthur and Frances, were born and raised in these very same parts!
