Rebecca,

My name is Brandon Quate and I live all the way out here in Texas. There are only a few Quate's left out here. I would like to give you some information that I believe to be correct. My grandfather was Jess Willard Quate, born Nov. 12, 1915 and died April 16, 2002 in Grand Prairie, TX. His father was Andrew Lee Quate born on Nov. 20 1878 in Tennessee. His parents were David and Elizabeth Quate who were born in North Carolina. I believe David's parents would have been Andrew Quaite and Elizabeth Williams both from North Carolina. This is the first time the I see the last name spelled differently. I don't really have any info. on their lives but wanted to see if this could help and what you have found. Please get in touch with me if you get this email.

Thank you,
Brandon Quate
