Hi Shelley,

My name is Jill Burch. I am researching African American families from Chester and Lancaster, SC. My gggreat-grandparent were slaves of Joshua Blake? Joshua Blake brought these slaves from Quay Donovant. Margaret Sloan Quay Donovant died about 1843, I found a source listing my ggggreat-grandparent being sold from the Donovants to Blakes. I would appreicate any information.

Thanking you in advance.

PS. If interested see Blake Family Forum on this site.
