I am also looking for a Quay ancestor in the Clinton/ Centre/ Juniata/ Lycoming county area. My Samuel was born in 1759 "in the Susquehanna," which could be anywhere. But I am wondering whether this John and he share parents. Do you know of John's parents.
By the way, if anyone of this line is looking for the family Bible for the Quay/Clark family, it is in Philly at the Genealogical Society of Pennsylvania. I also have Quay/Clark ancestry, and was very disappointed that this was not my family's!
