Quay - NY to Michigan, Civil War to 1890

I have a James Quay, born NY abt 1824 who settled in the thumb area of Michigan (Sanilac Co.). He was married to Mary Ann Roberts, born abt 1833 in PA. Their children were Maria Louisa, Mary Jane, Samuel Forest, Amanda Virginia, Laura Etta, James Henry, and Charles Ross. James served in the Civil War in NY 142 Regiment. He died 1887. Looking for any family information. Thanks.
