Wade Hampton Queen & wife Anne Cansada Queen, SC, GA, AL
I am interested in the line of Wade Hampton Queen and his wife Anne Cansada Queen.I would be interested in learning the Y-DNA of Wade Hampton Queen or the mtDNA of his wife Anne Cansada Queen.
The name Cansada sounds Spanish or possibly Portuguese or maybe even Italian. The name Lorenzo also sounds Spanish or Italian.
I see from the posted history that several people did work on this line several years back but it seems everyone has now moved on to other things. There doesn't seem to have been any recent activity.
Here is what I have been able to put together so far:

The earliest record I have found for Wade Hampton Queen was 1830 Anderson County, South Carolina. They were still there in 1840 and in 1850.I have not found a record for them in the 1860 census but other records seem to indicate that they relocated to Cobb County, Georgia around that time.By 1870 they were in Madison County, Georgia. It looks like Anne Cansada Queen died there and Wade Hampton Queen married Mary King, widow of James Bruce.
Reports are that Wade Hampton Queen moved to Alabama along with his daughter Nancy and her husband, James Wallace.
