Jedediah Strong, d. 1709, Wood Creek, NY

My ancestor Jedediah Strong, Jr. died in October 1709 at Wood Creek, NY. I presume he was part of the expedition to Canada that year and died from hunger or sickness like so many others on the expedition.

My question is where can I find primary information (company logs, orderly books, etc..) on this expedition. Additionally, is there a cemetery or memorial presently erected to honor the men of this expedition? If so, where is it located?

Thanks in advance for your replies.
