David,
Are you still interested in this family?
My oldest Queer ancestor until just this evening was a Henry Queer in Westmoreland County.
I have been looking at the census reports and I have reason to believe that this Peter Queer is Henry's father.
In the 1830 census Peter Queer is found in PA Somerset County Brothersvalley, listed right after a Jacob and a Lawrance.
Jacob in his listing is of 20 and under 30
Lawrance in his listing is of 70 and under 80 then comes Peter
Peter in his listing is of 30 and under 40 yrs. old
1 male of 10 and under 15
