Hi Robert; Talk about '6 degrees of seperation'. I just came across your post concerning your Wyandotte descent. My g. grandmother (and all the 'eastern' Quein branch) are descendants of Honore Martel dit Lamontagne of Ancienne Lorette, Quebec. Our line shares descent from the marriage of Martin Prevost and Marie Oliver Sylvester, who were married in 1644, the first marriage between a Frenchman and an 'Indian'. Marie's parents were from the 'Huron' Nation. As you probably know, the Huron after the dispersal of 1649, moved west and became the Wyandotte. They are one and the same. Jim
