I am researching my family, and my Uncle's wife was a Querengesser. I just found a whole pile of her family on the World Family Tree, Volume#3. It dates back to Hans Querengasser who was born about 1590. Place names include Canada (Kitchener, Ellis Twp.) and Hutten and Freidebach in Germany as well as some others.

I would be glad to share the info with you if you would like.
