QUIER
THE QUIER FAMILY WERE ORGINALLY FRENCH HUGENOTS WHO FLED TO GERMANY ( SOME MAY HAVE GONE TO ENGLAND) TO AVOID RELIGIOUS PERSECUTION, THE ORIGINAL NAME WAS LE QUIER , CHANGED TO QUIER.
A GEORGE QUIER WAS BORN GERMANY 12/21/1730 OF LUTHERN FAITH.
ENDED UP IN PA/
I HOPE THIS MAY HELP YOU. WISH I COULD GIVE YOU MORE INFO ON THE NAME, BUT IT'S NOT MY FAMILY.
