I find a Daniel (Mc Quigg) on pg 571 in the book Massachusetts Soldiers and Sailors of the Revolutionary War, printed in 1902. He applied for state bounty. We have a Daniel (Mc) Quigg on our tree that went to Maine from NH but I have a wife listed as Phoebe Chick. I also have he died 0n 5 Jun 1816. Many Mc Quiggs droped the MC. In the book The Diary of Matthew Patten of Bedford, NH from 1754-1788 he uses Quigg for the Mc Quigg Family. There are lots of Daniels on the tree but Daniel b before 1750 died 5 Jun 1819 m Chick I show going to New Castle and having 3 children in Maine but no Daniel listed as a child. His children were Polly m David or Jacob Cressey 1796, Phoebe m Edward Parsons 1796 in New Milford Maine, and Robert Quigg m Sarah Boynton no date. Hope there is a clue here, Beth
