Timothy: Thanks for the info.
I think my grandparents emigrated around 1905-1910? (guesstimate)
My grandmother had a strong accent, so I assume she was a young adult coming over.
I assumed they were from southern Ireland (Sligo), but that is all heresay.
Currently, I am waiting for the Ontario gov't. to provide death and marriage certificates to find out where they are from. (I'm seeking Irish citizenship)
If there is a connection to Londonderry I will let you know!
