Thomas: I too am a descendent of John McQuigg who was born in 1766. Do you have anything on the family in Ireland or Scotland. I already have most of it once they came to the States.

P.s. there were 8 sons in that family, four tories and four whigs. I believe that all of the torie sons dropped the mc before thier name and went by Quigg, although I have only been able to verify that David actually did.
