James and Hannah's parents were: Jacob B. Bartshe; born-Dec. 4, 1801 in Lebonon, Pennsylvania & died-1874 in Hickory County, Missouri. Burial: Probably cemetary on J.H. Bartshe Farm, in Hickory County, Missouri. He married Elizabeth Dirk/Dierks on Aug. 10, 1823 in Wooster, Wayne County, Ohio. She was born- 1804 in Easton, Pennsylvania & died- after 1850. Burial: Probably with her husband. Jacob helped build the stone jail house in Hickory County in 1870. Moved to Ohio abt. 1822. In 1840 moved to Montgomery County, Missouri and in 1841 to Hickory County. Jacob's parents are Christian Bartshe: born-abt. 1771 in Pennsylvania & died-Dec. 27, 1817 in Green Township, Wayne County, Ohio. He married Regina Michel on Dec. 10, 1799 in Bethel Township, Lebanon, Pennsylvania. Regina was born-Aug. 19, 1775. Elizabeth's Dad is Jacob Dyerks born-1754 in Germany.
