Pedro Quintanilla was my great-grandfather. My understanding is that he was a successful businessman who owned a match factory and a silk business. The museum at the Obispado in Mty. has a display on him. (You probably know this already.)

My grandfather was his son, Carlos. His oldest son, also Carlos, was my father. My father emigrated to the US (TX) in 1947 where he met my mother and had his own family. Both he and my grandfather were physicians. He died in 1997.

Most of us have left Texas, but I still have contact with relatives from and in Monterrey.
