Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum
message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
I agree with you. I am fair skinned, though nicely mixed with my mother's genes, but my father was what you would call here in the US a "white boy". My son was born a very light skinned kid, green eyes, blonde hair, and it was cause for oohs and aahs from people who think Hispanics are one color, one look. Out here in California, and many of the states that border Mexico, people think that a Hispanic should look Mexican, and yet Mexicans are incredibly diversed in their looks as well. I feel for you, why should you have to explain why you are light skinned and have green or blue eyes and are Hispanic and don't speak spanish!
