Hi Dorothy,
I have Quisenberry roots on both sides of my grandmother's father's familyk.Both sides of my Quisenberry roots ended up in Kentucky.Do any of these names fit in with your research:
Mary Ann Quisenberry b. 1833 in Virginia.She married James Eldridge and had the following children: Margaret, William, David Eli (my ancestor), Hyram & James.David Eli Eldridge married Henretta Franklin.David and Henretta made their home in Kentucky.Their eldest daughter Delia married Edward L. Pendleton.Delia & Edward were my great great grandparents.Their son Leslie Dudley Pendleton was the father of my maternal grandmother.
Elizabeth Quisenberry (the daughter of Aaron Quisenberry & Joyce Dudley)was b. 1767 in Spottsylvania, Virginia.She married Rice Pendleton of Orange, VA.They made their home in Bath County, Kentucky.Their son Thacker married Mary Polly Roundtree.Thacker and Mary had a son named Rice (after his grandfather).Their son Rice married Eliza Jane Crouch.Rice and Eliza had a son named Virgil "Thacker".Thacker married Clara Donlan.Thacker & Clara son was Edward L. Pendleton who married Delia Eldridge the granddaughter of Mary Ann Quisenberry Eldridge.
