I would like to know more about the roots of my Raab family. I believe my Raabs originated in Blaibach, Bavaria, Germany.
The oldest generation of which I am familiar is that of Frank S. Raab, born 1853 in Bavaria, Germany, who married Franziska Unknown on 11 May 1880 in Bavaria. Franziska was born 1854, also in Bavaria.
They immigrated to the United States in 1884 and settled near Carroll, Iowa, where they made their home until 1893. From there, they moved to Petersburg, Nebraska, where they lived for 10 years. In 1903, they moved to a home near Anthon, Custer County, Oklahoma, where they lived for the rest of their lives.
Frank died in 1940 and Franziska, or Francis, died in 1931. They are buried at St. Peter and Paul Cemetery near Anthon, Oklahoma.
Their known children are as follows:

4) John (b. Jun 1884 in Iowa, never married, d. Mar 1945 in Oklahoma)
5) Julia (b. 1889 in Iowa, d. 1956 in Oklahoma)
6) Dorothea Frances (b. Feb 1891 in Iowa, m. Herman Klingler, d. 1964 in Oklahoma)
7) Kathryn C. (b. 1893 in Nebraska, m. Peter T. Koos, d. 1959 in Oklahoma)
8) Joseph B. Raab (b. circa 1896 in Nebraska)
