Thanks for replying. We would very much appreciate any information on your Raab family you might be able to share from your grandmother, and would be happy to post it on the patriarch page

Any information on your Raab line would be a great addition to the project--any names/dates/locations your grandmother can share would be wonderful.
It's also very interesting that you mention Gyor. One of our project members has origins in Bavaria, and has been looking at that very place. He writes,
"there is a city in Hungary named Győr whose German name is Raab. There is a page for the city on Wikipedia at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gy%C5%91r . There are also several rivers in the area that are named Raab or have similar names."
In addition to any names and dates you can get from your grandmother, it would also be wonderful if she knows of any Raab cousins. If she knows any male Raabs still living in Hungary, I am pretty sure we can get a test kit for her to take back (or send to her or a Raab who's willing to do the DNA test) if she'd be willing to do that.
