I am research a line of the Raasch Family in Milwaukee, WI. The information I have is as follows:
Friedrick Raasch born abt. 1814 married to Carolinia Lubunow born abt 1820 came to US on Astronom from Bremen to NY arrived June 8, 1868, destination listed as Chicago, PROOO listed for place they where from. Came with Ausust age 21, Carl age 16, Johanna age 19, Friedrich age 26 and his wife Friedericke 26.
Found in the 1870 census with Friedrick, Carolinia, Charles (Carl), Johanna along with William age 26, Henriette age 24 and their children Wilhelmine age 4 and Albert 2 months. William and Henriette and their two children came to the US on the Smidt from Geestemunde to NY May 21, 1870.
My line is Friedrich and Freidericka (Beyer or Beier) Raash. They had ten children of which only three survived: Marth Raasch born March 19, 1869, Ida Raasch born Sept. 28, 1876, and Lydia Raasch born Nov. 4, 1884.
Martha never married, Ida married Albert Behling June 24, 1899 and Lydia married William P. Lehmann. Ida is again my line and she and Albert had three children, Elfrieda born April 9,1900 (my grandmother), Lillian born July 23, 1901 and Ester born Aug. 2, 1907. Elfrieda married Albert Ohm June 12, 1920, Lillian and Ester married Hubert Wickman Sept. 7, 1929.
I am looking for location in Germany, and any additional information expecially on Friedrick and Carolinia Raasch.
I some additional information on death dates etc. if someone needs additional information.
