Haven't seen this book but will look it up. I have two books, "Freistadt and the Lutheran Immigration" and "Confessional Lutheran Migrations to America" both put out by church groups. I have seen other Raasch names but so far have made no connections tho feel I might someday when I get enough pieces to put the puzzle together! The Freistadt book lists a Johann Gottlieb Rasch as asking for membership in Nov. 1851, before our line arrived in America. Wonder if our family had connections here before their arrival in 1866 or who encouraged them to immigrate and settle in Jefferson Cty?
