There is perhaps a connection between Carl Raasch in my query below and your Carl. Carl Raasch of the query below had a son Herman born in November 1860 and a son Carl, born about 1868. I have very little on this family and have not yet found exactly when they came to Wisconsin, but have learn that Carl died there.
