I sure hope you can help! My grandparents, John and Elizabeth Heitland Rabe, immigrated from Dusseldorf the beginning of the 20th century. They refused to give my father any information about their parents, saying that everyone had been killed off in the Franco-Prussian War. Which doesn't wash as that was over several years before they were born. They did come with their brothers and sisters, but I have no knowledge of their names. Elizabeth was born about 1976, John a few years later. They settled originally in Logan, Utah, moving later to Santa Ana, CA. My father was John Jr. He had an older brother, Roland (b. 1907) and an older sister, Leona, born in 1904 in Logan,Utah. Do you know anything about any of these people?
