My wife's g-g-grandfather Johannes (John) Rabel and his brother-in-law, George Frederick Stephan went to California during the "gold rush". However they found only enough gold to pay for their passage back home to Monroe County, Ohio. I am interested in more on the Stephan Luicart Familys. Will be glad to share information.
