I have been researching the Christopher Leighty family. He married Barbara Schuder October 10, 1815 in Montgomery Cty, OH. I have not documented this but I believe him to be the father of George A. Leighty who married Catherine Cone in Montgomery Cty in 1850. On one of the Ohio Census George was listed in their household. George and Catherine went to Petersburg, Pike Cty, IN. George's son Franklin was my great grand father. Also there is a Christopher Leighty married a Catarina Schuder July 25, 1867 in Montgomery Cty, OH. I'm guessing Christopher was a popular name in the line. Schuder seems to be a unique name. Do you have any connections to the Leighty line??
