Seeking information on my great-grandfather Alexander Zussman VOZICK, or his wife Rochel Leah SORKIN, both probably from Yekaterinoslav (now Dnepropetrovsk), Ukraine. Children of this 1879 marriage include Chunah, Morris, and Benny VOZICK. Alexander died in Russia in 1893. Rochel Leah subsequently married Chaim Hersch RABINOVITCH, with whom she had one child, Isadore Charles RABINOVITCH. She came to Ellis Island in late 1906 with her VOZIK and RABINOVITCH children on the Bativea ship sailing from Hamburg in 1906. Morris subsequently moved to Quebec (Montreal and La Macaza), taking the surname RABINOVITCH and marrying Bella LURIE (my grandmother). Benny also headed up to Quebec, but took the surname RUBENOVITCH and married Dora AXELBAND, fathering 7 children. Chunah married Masha HUBERGRITZ/BEREZOFSKY/CHAZAN and they had 10 children.
I think I know about most of the descendants of all of the preceding, but am looking for new limbs on the tree, as well as any older ancestors. If any of this fits with any information you may have, please let me know. Thanks.
