My mother Aileen b.1925 is a Rabjohns whose parents lived Bradninch at the turn of the century and subsequently moved to East Bristol and started a laundry business called The Devon Hand Laundry which operated until the early 1980's .Our family home is still the site of the business a cottage (Rose Cottage Whitehall )dating from +/- 1860 since demolished.I had an uncle who was President of the Bristol Devonian Society before WW2.
