Need info on Rabon Family from Charleston, S.C.

My name is Alan Wesly Rabon. My father is Albert Earl Rabon also called "Bobby Rabon". My grandfather was Lawrence David Calhoun Burtrum Rabon. We are all from Charleston, S.C. but my father tells me some of our family came from Conway, S.C. I would like to try to trace the link from my grandfather to our family in Scotland.

Any and all information would be greatly appreciated!
