Gail,

Please tell me more about the DNA testing I am ignorant on these matters. I am descended from William Rayburn b. c1820 KY, m. Eliza Hobbs 1842 Grundy, MO, Dissapeared c 1843 along the Santa Fe trail. I have been unable to determine Williams parents. Family lore says his father was a Rev. Robert Raybourn whos father was also Robert who fought in the revolution but no info I can find to prove any of this. I have sons and cousins I'm sure would be willing to be tested. My questions are, how do we go aboout this testing and is it just men that should be tested?
