Hi, Bill,
I know my Alonzo lived in Jasper County, IL and then maybe in Crawford County, IL. I don't know where he was born as no one would talk about him after he'd left the way he did. He simply walked away after saying good bye to his children. After so many years, Rosa filed desertion papers. His children were born in the late 1800's. My grandmother was born about 1898 and her sister a year after her. So assuming he might have been in his late 20's at the time, he might have been born around 1865ish. He had 3 girls and 1 boy. His son ended up in Chicago as an adult. The rest lived in Oblong, IL and died there. Any help is deeply appreciated. Mary
