Bill, Good Idea!! I have been looking into the Moses Race line. It appears to me that they were spelling their name Rees.....I have found a William Rees (1790) in Va. There was also an Andrew Race that fought in the Rev. War in Virginia. It possible that these Rees/Races were orginally from New Jersey.....its funny, the very early ones have the same names as our eary Rees/Races in Columbia Co. NY.......Jacob, Andrew, William, John. Maybe they were part of the same family, one family relocating from New Amsterdam, NY to Albany,NY and the other New Jersey....thats the only thing I can think of. The Belfast Races seemed to have stayed in NY....there were so many Races around the Albany area its hard to tell what person they descended from. I am sure they connect...just from who is the Brick Wall!!
