Hi Daniel,
I have been on this board for a long time, and this is the first time that I have seen any info on the Races of Canada. That means that you are a forerunner of your generation. Therefore, be optimistic, maybe your post will generate some new followers, and hence, some new information for you. Genealogy requires time, patience, and luck. My family shows no connection to your Rupert. However, at one point in time, around 1900, I had a great uncle Alonzo Race who lived in Campbellford, Ontario.
Although the activity on this board has slowed down considerably in recent months, (due to brick walls,) there are a number of people here, who are more than willing to help you, should any new information arise. Good luck, and keep the faith. Bill Race
