"Luther RACE, [my note: town or residence unknown], served from April 12 to April 21, 1814 in Lieut. James S. Morton's Company, Col. W.B. Sumner's Regt."

"Milton RACE, Trumpeter of Salisbury, Addison County, VT, served from May 1 to June 30, 1814 in Capt. Haig's Corps of Light Dragoons. Ref: R. & L. 1812, AGO Page 20." [My note: he may have served at the Battle of Plattsburg, NY.]
