Hi William,
I just talked with a man in Missouri (Scott) who had a William Race born in 1903 in NY. We found what he hopes to be Williams parents and siblings in the 1905 New York State census. That led him to this,
Luther Race born aprox. 1800 Wife Lucy Brown born 1797
Thankful Race born 1824
Francis A. Race born 1858 ny 2nd wife Mabel
and William Race born 1903 ny
William was an orphan put on a train and wound up in Kansas. I searched all through the Williams in the TRRFA and didn't find a match, I checked all of the other members and found no matches. All of these Races came from St. Lawrence Co. in New York. Lucy Brown was Canadian as was Francis A's first wife. The last e-mail I got from Scott yesterday contained this link below.
