I have just read your post regarding the Racicot familly tree that starts with Michel Racicot.

My fathers name was Edouard Charles Racicot.
My Grandfathers name was Charles Racicot
My great grandfathers name was also Charles.
They all originated from the Chambly, Quebec area and my dads part of the familly went to Angers and Buckingham areas of Quebec.
To my understanding a Michel Racicot came to Canada from France in the 1600's and was a tax collector for the state at that time.
I am also told that if I had hair I could pass for Marc Racicots older brother.
Very interesting stuff.
I would love to hear from more Racicots and learn more.
Also does anyone have an email address for Marc Racicot.
Thank You
JeanNoel Racicot.
