Michel Racicot spouse to Geneviève Allard

Hi All Racicot researchers .

I & a few others are trying to follow ALL of the original Racicot families in France and I personally also try to follow all of the Racicot, descendants , connecting families etc etc from across Canada and parts of the United States as well as all of their variant name spellings eg : Rasciquot / Roscoe etc

Just a rhetorical question in regards to Michel Racicot supposed spouse to Geneviève Allard .

For their apparent son Jacques Racicot who married to Marie Jeanne Labbé , 06 May 1715 ,Notre-Dame,Québec-Ville,Québec,Qc .

The Drouin act clearly states he was s/o Michel Racicot and Geneviève Allard .

Has anyone ever found the marriage of Michel Racicot to Geneviève Allard anywhere in France ????? .

From Jacques actual birth record 15 Nov 1692 in France we are definately 100 % positive that he was not the son of Geneviève Allard .

So far we find that Jacques Racicot was 1 of 11 siblings in France.

Also his father Michel Racicot ( 1 of 5 siblings so far ) was not born @ Chateau Gonthier as shown on many genealogy websites but was born 28 Dec 1650 @ Argentré,France and died 28 Aug 1706 , St-Jean,Château-Gontier,Mayenne,France .

It also appears that this same Michel Racicot was well educated , able to read and write, had some monies and was a merchant at 27 years of age .

I dearly would love to find out if anyone has ever come across an actual marriage document for Michel Racicot to Geneviève Allard clearly stating the parents names as we do now know who the parents of the original Michel Racicot are .

Or for that matter has anyone ever found the death / burial act for Geneviève Allard who would have died c.1705 also clearly stating Michel Racicot as spouse.

We do know of a few particular Geneviève Allard's born in France but so far have not made any association to Michel Racicot

Clearly a lot of work in progress and more still needs to be done

From the ages of the children born to Michel Racicot and another spouse , it now seems reasonably clear so far that Geneviève Allard could not have been mother to any of them

Please feel free to contact me directly if you have any information or possible clues
regards

Michel Racicot
