Hi, MaryJane.

Indeed, the information you provided was very helpful. It provided me with a good base to do some follow-up research. I've been able to determine that I'm a distant relative of the governor's and I've been able to fill in some added or revised data concerning his paternal line:

Michel Racicot m. Genevieve Alard
Charles Racicot m. (5/6/1715, Quebec, Quebec) Marie-Jeanne Labbe
Charles Racicot (b. 11/18/1720; d. 1789) m. (4/3/1769, Boucherville, Chambly, Quebec) Madeleine Pitalier (1748-1818)
Dominique Racicot (b. 1768; d. 1/9/1842) m. (8/26/1799) Marie-Charlotte Darche (b. 7/4/1767 Chambly, Quebec; d. 1/25/1815 Chambly, Quebec)
Dominique Racicot (b. 5/5/1802 Chambly, Quebec; d. 3/18/1883 Little Falls, Montana) m. (2/8/1825 Chambly, Quebec) Marie-Desanges Millet (b. 12/27/1803 Chambly, Quebec; d. 1887 Little Falls, Montana)
then the rest as you have it:
William M. Racicot (1826-1915) m. Julie Ann Foisy (1831-1898)
Eugene Israel Racicot (1866-1945) m. Mary M. Rodman
Henry Racicot m. Pat
Marc Racicot (b. 7/24/1948 Thompson Falls, Montana)

Thank you again. I really appreciate your help.

Paul
