my grandfaters uncle may came to us?

My grandfather is Horst Radtke. my Ggrandfather is Phaul Radtke. Family history is vauge. Grandfather said that his uncle (his fathers brother) may have gone to the u.s. 1850's? Ggradfather Radtkes' family were farmers. there were 3 sons. of which one is said to have gone to the us. I only know the name of my ggrandfather. Phaul Radtke served in the 1st ww. He disappered in Russia. It is rumored that he started a new family there. If you have any info on the Radtke that may have gone to the us. OR the one (Phaul Radtke) that disappeared in Russia Please let me know. I am doing this for my gradfater. He would like to know what happend to his family.
