I have a Julia F. Schmidt,b. 30 Oct 1894 in Rockford, IL, daughter of Chris and Bertha (Radtke) Schmidt. She married Elmer George Hewitt in Waterloo, Black Hawk Co IA 8 Mar 1916.
Julia died 12 Jan 1974 in Waterloo. Her obit says besides her husband, sons and daughters, she is survived by two brothers, Louis Schmidt of Reinbeck, IA and William Schmidt Cedar Falls IA.
Does anyone have info on her parents and ancestors?
