Hi, my Grandfather was Henry Theodore William Gerling and he was the son of Henry David Gerling who was the brother to Augusta who married Paul Radtke (known as Aunt Gustie to our family). So our grandfather's would have been cousins.

I have started doing online searches in regard to the family because of a mystery: my grandfather had an older brother named H. Arthur Gerling who disappeared from family knowledge, maybe about the time of the murder of Carl Henry Gerling. Anyway, we don't know what happened to him.

Do you think that maybe your dad or grandfather has any family stories about a missing cousin named Art?

I can definitly fill you in on the Henry David (Augusta's brother) descendants if you are interested.

Kathy
