have been researching Radtke recently in Walworth county, Wisconsin at the courthouse in Elkhorn, Wi. I have copied info on Karl Radtke and family. His wife was Johanna Zuehl. I am hoping to connect because my Great grandmother was a Radtke from that same area. Karl F. Radtke b.8-30-1831 in Schlewitz (spelling close)Germany. His parents are John Radtke b. ga and Federicka b. ga. He married Johannah Zuehl. She was born 1-03-1841 in Ga. Her father was F. Zuehl and mother was Frieda. Karl d.7-20-1906 and Hannah d. 6-07-1908. They both are buried in Lyons, Wi.(n. of Lake Geneva) They had 3 children that I have found so far. Son August, All Schlag, Ger 12-14-1868 d. 10-26-1934. He married Phebe Schleicher on 11-04-1891. He was from Lake Geneva and they were married in a Lutheran Ch. The witness was Gustoff Radtke. Second son, Gustave b. 9-10-1867 d. 11-14-1915. A daughter, Millie married August Volz 8-30-1902 in Lyons, Wi.
The witness was Gustave Radtke. This is all I have. Good hunting, Bev
