Greetings! I am looking for information on Captain William C. Ragan. He served first in Company L, 1st South CArolina Infantry and later in Company H, 37th North Carolina Troops during the Civil War. He was killed Aug. 16, 1864 at Fussell's Mill, Virginia. I am looking for his date of birth, place of burial, and any other details about his life. This information will be used in a upcoming book on the 37th NCT.

Thanks,
Michael C. Hardy
