Thank you for replying. I am not sure, but I saw where someone had put information on the Familysearch.org site saying that Ann E. Holliday's father was John Holliday. And she was born in Sumpter South Carolina. My information from Census records say both Wiliam and Ann were born in South Carolina. Ann Bought land From the U.S. Govt in 1883 in Putnam County Florida. I have yet to get a copy of that file, but maybe it will give me some information about her and her Family. My guess is that her Husband William Wilson Ragan must have died some time before 1883 in Putnam County Florida. The good news is there is a chance I can find the death notice, because Putnam county Florida has Newspapers from 1868. The bad news is none of them are indexed. and I haven't been able to find her Grave site to find a date of when she died. Maybe I will have to look through them all and see what I can come up with. Wish me luck.
