Hi my name is Caryn Ragin. My father is Willie Glenn Ragin. Son of Barett and Edith Ragin. My father was born in North Carolina, but his parents were from Summerton, SC. I knew Cousin John Ragin very well who married a woman we called Sug. He died in Macon, GA. I just wanted to say Hi and hopefully we can compare notes and see if and how we are all related. For my part, I know that there are two sets of Black Ragins from South Carolina and a smaller clan of white Ragins. I also know that there is a branch of the Ragin clan who split off and spelled their names Ragins with an 's'. I know that they are related to me because the patriarch is my father's eldest brother. Everyone who came from him or was close to him spell their name Ragins.
