4. Mary Ann Rahn (1.George1) b. 12/20/1813, Mt. Airy, Phila., Pa., m. 02/09/1837, in St. Michaels Church, Germantown, Penn., Ashton Stephen Tourison, b. 07/20/1811, Mt. Airy, Phila., Pa., (son of Stephen Tourison and Elizabeth Poirier) occupation cordwainer, d. 08/04/1866, Mt. Airy, Phila., Pa.Mary died 12/1876, Mt. Airy, Phila., Pa., buried: 12/17/1876, St. Michaels Church, Germantown, Penn.Mary Ann lived at 541 Germantown Ave., Phila., Pa. in 1870 according to the Phila. City directory. Ashton: Ashton Stephen Tourison was a certified American Seaman at age 14. He enlisted as a private in the Mexican War in Capt. Naylors Company 2 of the Phila. Rangers(1846-48) and was wounded in the War. He was a Captain in Company P of the 28th Regiment in Sept.26, 1861(Col. Geary's Regiment) and on Oct.28, 1862 was transferred to the command of Co.E of the 147th Regiment, having recruited his own Company(Company A).

City directory. Margaret: Margaret and her two sons living at 208 W. Highland Ave., Chestnut Hill, Phila., Pa. according to the 1900 Pa. Census. The 1900 Census said she was the mother of only two children. In the 1880 census she lists her parents as being born in Germany. She was living on Thorps Lane at that time. She was listed as being the widow of William Rahn in the 1870 directory and living on Thorps Ln. near the Reading R.R. In 1885 she was listed as living on Highland Ave.

19. iii Jacob S. Rahn b. 12/08/1844, Pennsylvania, occupation carpenter, d. 1944, buried: St. Peters Lutheran Church, Barren Hill.Jacob was listed as owning the property at 208 W. Highland Ave., Chestnut Hill in 1900 according to the census in that year. In the 1869 Phila. directory he ws listed as a salesman working at 29 N.3rd and living at the Eagle Hotel. In 1873-carpenter,Thorps Ln. near Wiss. Pike., C. Hill; 1885- (Jacob S. Rahn &Bro.),home Highland Ave.,corner of N.29th, C.Hill and as a carpenter in 1889 living at the same address.
20. iv James G. Rahn b. 12/08/1848, Pennsylvania, occupation carpenter, d. 1928, buried: Somerton.James G. Rahn was listed as a farmer in the 1873-74 Phila. dir. living at Thorps Ln.,near Wiss. Pike, C. Hill. He was listed associated with Jacob S. Rahn & Bro in 1885 and living at Highland Ave. near 29th, C. Hill. He was listed as a carpenter in 1889 at the same address.
